Nature Inspired: A Mindful Collage Workshop

$120.00

Sunday, May 24, 2026

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Registration Fee: $120, this includes all materials, a light lunch provided by one of our local restaurants (TBD), and beverages

Step away from the noise and reconnect with your creativity in this immersive 4-hour workshop that blends nature, mindfulness, and artistic expression. We will begin by hiking around the Stockholm area and using your phone or camera to capture textures, colors, patterns, and moments that speak to you in the natural environment.

With gentle prompts to spark awareness and curiosity, this portion of the experience encourages you to slow down, observe deeply, and find inspiration in the simple beauty around you.

After gathering your images, we’ll return indoors to transform your photographs into a one-of-a-kind collage. Using your printed images from our hike, along with optional mixed media materials, you’ll create a personal piece of art that reflects your perspective and connection to nature.

No prior experience in photography or art is required—this class is designed for all levels and welcomes complete beginners. It’s not about perfection, but about exploration, creativity, and expression.

Leave with a meaningful, handmade piece of art—and a renewed sense of inspiration.

What to expect:

  • A guided outdoor nature photography experience

  • Mindful prompts to inspire creativity

  • Time to print and work with your images

  • Hands-on collage creation using a variety of materials

  • A relaxed, supportive environment to explore your artistic voice

  • Exact location will be determined on the day of the workshop and is dependent on weather conditions. Be prepared to hike in tall grasses and/or near water. Hiking shoes, tall socks or boots, and/or ankle length pants are encouraged. We will be in areas where we may encounter wild life.

  • To keep yourself comfortable in the elements consider bringing sunscreen, bug spray, and water.

  • A light lunch, catered by one of our fabulous local restaurants (TBD), will be provided.

  • Beverages will be provided.
