Join artist Cheri Bunker for a creative and playful two-hour art class where we transform natural driftwood into an expressive spirit doll. Select your own unique piece of driftwood from the shores of Lake Pepin. Add an expressive face full of personality, wild untamed hair. Embellish your spirit with dried botanicals, moss, fibers, beads, and special trinkets. Let your creative side connect with your Spirit. 

A Driftless Spirit is a whimsical guardian inspired by the natural beauty and ancient character of the Driftless Region. Created from weathered driftwood shaped by wind, water, and time, each spirit is transformed through art into a unique being with its own personality and presence. Adorned with wild hair, botanicals, and found treasures, Driftless Spirits serve as reminders of our connection to nature, imagination, and the unseen magic that surrounds us. No two are alike—each carries its own story, waiting to be discovered.

Meet Your Instructor: Cheri Bunker is a mixed-media artist and healing arts practitioner who brings creativity, calm, and intention to every class. Her workshops are known for blending artistic expression with personal well-being.
